A SHORT LONG JOURNEY- WHAT WILL YOURS BE?
The personal story of a man born in Terezín, who became a co-founder of a political movement that won the first democratic parliamentary elections in Slovakia (1990), focuses on the theme of ethnic, racial, national intolerance and the Holocaust. The project consists of a documentary film, texts, videos, photographs and testimonies of individual participants of the Sachsenhausen Death March in 1945.
The main purpose of the educational part of this multimedia project is to inform, capture and hold the attention of young people during their free time. Workshops in 8 Slovak cities offered students to actively engage in topics such as humanity and the Holocaust by creating essays, photographs, films, drawings, computer presentations, collages and the likes.
